The Magdalen
Higher Care Suite
In September 2011 the new Magdalen
Higher Care Suite
at Old Hastings House was completed and opened.
The Trustees of the Magdalen and Lasher Charity, who own and operate Old
Hastings House on a not-for-profit basis, committed £1,500,000 to fund the
project and were delighted to see the doors finally open on this long awaited
facility.
 The
Suite is a secure two-storey building consisting of 15
bedrooms surrounding a courtyard garden. The accommodation is
self-contained with its own sitting room, dining room and bathrooms.
The Magdalen Suite is a specialised facility providing care for elderly
residents whose mental capacity has deteriorated to the point where they need
dedicated facilities and staff trained to provide care tailored to their specific
needs.
A specially trained team of care workers and team leaders work
within the Suite and, since opening its doors in September 2011, it has been
operating at full occupancy.
Room rates for The Magdalen Suite are currently £500 per week.
